   I was skeptical when I first read the claims that OxyFlex makes. I’ve had a lot of pain in my right elbow from an ancient injury and tendonitis. After all those doctors’ personnel visits and surgery on the elbow, there was still a lot of lingering pain. I bought the tube of OxyFlex thinking that at the worst, OxyFlex would be an expensive analgesic, but hoping that the claims about long lasting tendonitis relief might be right. When the tube came in the mail, it was larger than I thought. The 4 ounce tube was nearly as large as a full size tube of toothpaste. They urge using a dime sized spot of OxyFlex and just rubbing it into the affected area. You can feel the cooling effect of the ingredients, menthol and Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, straight away. The hyper-oxygenated oil kicks in after that and you can really feel the reduction in tendonitis pain. They urge applying the OxyFlex cream a couple of times per day. It’s not oily so that wasn’t a problem. It soaked right into my skin quickly and wasn’t smelly afterwards. After a couple of days, the tendonitis pain was greatly reduced. I’m very pleased with the effect. I just wish that OxyFlex wasn’t as expensive as it is. It really works though.

   This is a bit like like reviewing a pencil- you sharpen it and start writing- if you make a mistake, use the other end. In other words, this is a very simple product to use that delivers straightforward results. All you do is tear open the package and stick it on everywhere your pain is- in this case the back. It heats up quickly and stays stuck unless you’re sweating excessively or rubbing your back up against something a lot. All-in-all a fantastic product- and anyone with back pain knows how excellent heat feels and now you can stay heated while you’re up and about!    I have had a very terrible low back for 30 years counting low back surgery. I have had ever type of shot and treatement available. After all is said and done these heat wraps are the best relief I have found. I do not wear them at night but during my work day. They fit nicely under your pants and are very thin. They are not cheap but this is as cheap as I have found them. I find that after using them for a week or so I will go to something else like a Tens uinit for a week and then back to the heat wraps. Using them all the time for me causes them to lose some of the relief they grant. I have never had a side effect and have used them for a couple of years.

   Have used these in the past and they are wonderful. Low level of warm heat works up to 12 hours even though box says 8 hours. They are very pricey in the stores, but savings with Amazon was over 30%! Although instructions say not to use the lower back heat wraps while sleeping, I have used them while asleep with no problems. But, would not do so while sleeping if I had any skin allergies or issues.

   When I get prolonged back stiffness from work, I place one of these on before bedtime, and wake up to a pliable, relaxed back. As they warm up, I stop noticing the heat although my skin is warm and flushed. These are fantastic. I tried another brand, and it wasn’t nearly as excellent. Worth shopping nearly for a better price, counting Costco.
